In making this work I explored my love of classical sculpture and pattern and juxtaposing the hard yet soft bodies of these male sculptures with the feminine, light, and colorful patterns that I found. i created a book from scratch using a process called alternative inkjet printing. its using either cyanotype or Van Dyke brown to fill in the shadows of the image that you do inkjet on, giving it richer values.
